The supplied title indicates kraft-look or paper-faced wording and zip closure, window, stand-up format. Treat those descriptors as the starting specification and confirm the current drawing, tolerances and supplied construction before approval.
The source record places this item in the Stand-up pouch group and identifies Polypouch as the supplier reference. A gram value in a pouch title is a commercial size description, not proof that every product will fit at that weight. Bulk density, headspace, seal area, gusset opening and filling method determine the usable fill.
Confirm the full layer structure, sealant layer, zipper, valve, spout or window construction rather than relying on the outside appearance. Product oils, powders, moisture sensitivity, oxygen sensitivity and hot-fill conditions can change the barrier and seal requirement. The candidate should be tested with representative product and the intended sealer.
| Information to provide | Why it affects selection |
|---|---|
| Pouch drawing and flat dimensions | Defines panel size, gusset, seal areas, opening and the volume available after filling. |
| Product and target fill | Bulk density, particle shape, oils and required headspace affect usable capacity and seal cleanliness. |
| Construction declaration | Confirms functional layers, barrier, sealant, coatings, zipper, valve, spout and print system. |
| Filling and sealing method | Manual, semi-automatic or automatic handling changes presentation, jaw access and seal validation needs. |
| Quantity, print and delivery | Artwork, colours, order volume and call-off pattern affect the available supply route and quotation. |
A kraft-look, matt, clear or window finish describes appearance, not the complete material structure. Request the current construction declaration before making mono-material, recyclable, compostable or biodegradable claims.
